Is physical distancing still required?

Maintaining physical distance between you and others outside of members of your household remains an important personal measure in reducing the spread of COVID-19, primarily for those who are at a higher risk of serious disease. OSU’s public health measures, including the vaccination requirement and use of face coverings, allows for the return of in-person activities on campus. OSU’s measures are in alignment with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Guidance for Institutions of Higher Education, the Oregon Health Authority and our local public health authorities. There may be circumstances where OSU needs to modify spaces to maximize distance between individuals as an added precaution.
