How is the updated vaccination program requirement different from OSU’s previous requirements?

Previously, an OSU employee could simply attest to being vaccinated. In compliance with recently adopted federal Executive Order 14042, employees of federal contractors must now provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. As well, employees who previously claimed a vaccination exemption must either become fully vaccinated or go through a new exception process and complete specific forms. Previously, employees could watch a module and submit an exemption online. Please note that there is no longer a philosophical exception available. The only exceptions are: (1) for medical or disability reasons or (2) due to a sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. More information
