What library spaces are planned to be available spring term 2021?

The main floor of the Valley Library building is currently open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday for Spring Term by reservations.


We are planning for study space on the main floor of the Valley Library to be available by reservation only in spring 2021 from 10am-5pm Monday-Friday. Use Reserve a Seat to request a study space or computer workstation in advance, or library staff will help you make a reservation when you arrive. A Carry Out window is available for walk up without a reservation to pick up materials. We are also planning for the Java II space and the outside tents to be available without reservations during these times.


  • Digital services include Ask a Librarian, research consultations, instruction support and more.
  • Interlibrary loan services remain available, and we will continue to Scan and Deliver services and to mail physical items to users. · Continuous processing of purchase requests for course materials and other resources.
  • Staff of the library’s Special Collections and Archives Research Center are available to consult via virtual reference by appointment only on Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. In-person reference appointment only – Mondays (12-3pm), Tuesdays (1-4pm) Thursdays (11-2pm), and Fridays (12-3pm) – starting April 12 through Friday, June 11. The Guin Library building is currently closed to the public. Holds may be picked up during the library’s doorbell pickup hours: Monday, Wednesday and
