Center for Teaching & Learning – New2OSU

New2OSU is focused on impacting student success by accelerating the effectiveness of newer faculty. Completion of the program may be used as evidence of professional development, teaching effectiveness for performance review (subject to supervisor approval), and for those seeking teaching renewal. Successful completion earns a University Teaching Certificate of Recognition (non-credit).

  • Open to continuing Ecampus faculty, this training provides up-to-date information about who our Ecampus learners are and the most effective practices for teaching them in an asynchronous online environment.

   Applying the Quality Matters Rubric
  • Tuesday, May 10 through Tuesday, May 24
  • Open to Ecampus faculty, QM's flagship workshop on the QM rubric provides an overview of the research-based QM rurbic to support the design and development of effective courses.  No pre-requisites, but faculty should have taught online or be developing an online course with Ecampus.
